The difficulties that come from the breakdown of a relationship are not to be underestimated.  They are often matched by the fear that obtaining legal advice to do something about it will only provide added financial strain on top. Whilst public funding was previously available to a large number of clients who required advice and representation, this is no longer the case.

At CMA, we recognise that if you need legal advice or representation, the last thing you want to be worrying about are significant legal costs. Help should be available to everyone and in a way to suit everyone’s pocket. In response to that need, we are pleased to offer a range of fixed fees for family law advice.

Our fixed fees are exactly that. It is price paid by you for work we do on your behalf. For each fixed fee scheme we tell you how much the work costs, how much work is covered by the scheme and when/how to pay for it. Simple. There are no hidden extras.

Of fixed fees cover divorce/civil partnership dissolution, financial matters and children matters. Your case may require help in each area or just one of these. You can choose what matters to you and keep your costs under control and in accordance with your budget.

We recognise that not every single case will be suitable for a fixed fee. However, our view is that most should be. We are confident that our fixed fees combine value for money and expert advice in a single package. We can help advise upon which fixed fee is best suited to your needs and your budget. Remember, we continue to offer all new clients a free initial consultation to help you decide.

We place great emphasis on helping all clients to try and resolve their matter efficiently. Whenever possible, we stress the advantages that negotiation and conciliation bring to a family dispute. Why spend thousands when you can resolve your dispute for a fraction of that cost?  Whether you are thinking about divorce or want to resolve arrangements for your children with your former-partner, we can help.
